Veritas Women In Real Estate (VWIRE) is a resource group by and for current and future women leaders at Veritas. All genders are invited to participate in our events.
VWIRE is an inclusive group, formed by female executives and welcoming to all genders, that holds discussions and events to foster mentorship and growth among female staff. Pay equity is a top priority for Veritas, and an independent corporate committee oversees the company’s compensation programs and implementation to ensure competitive and fairly balanced compensation.

As Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, Fran Federman is responsible for leading CyrusOne’s capital markets activities and related strategic transactions.
Fran previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at IQHQ, a developer and owner of life science real estate. Prior to that, Fran served in various roles at Ventas, Inc., most recently as Vice President of Capital Markets and Managing Director of the Ventas Life Science and Healthcare Real Estate Fund. She previously worked as the Director of Global Treasury and Capital Markets for Terraform Global, including during its IPO, and held roles in Capital Markets and Finance at Prologis.
In addition to her professional experiences, Fran also is active in Chief, an organization focused on supporting women in senior leadership positions, and the Urban Land Institute, a leading organization in the broader real estate industry, as well as serving on the boards of One Tail at a Time and the National Eating Disorder Association.
Federman received her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.
Christine Ramsey is chief administrative officer for Draper and Kramer, Inc., responsible for human resources, communications, stockholder relations, risk management and office services. During her tenure with the company Ramsey has played a key role in defining and shaping Draper and Kramer’s strong, employee-focused work culture. With her skill in communicating the company’s vision and strategy, as well as her ability to connect with employees and partners, she remains an important cultural steward for the firm.
Ramsey joined Draper and Kramer in 2016 as senior vice president of human resources. Under her leadership, Draper and Kramer was named one of the Chicago Tribune’s “Top Workplaces” in 2017 and 2018. Before joining Draper and Kramer, Ramsey was senior vice president of talent and transformation for Revenew Systems, a technology startup company; and senior director of talent management for Catamaran, which provides pharmacy benefit management and medical record keeping services. She also was director of recruitment and retention at Aon Corporation.
Ramsey has a bachelor’s degree in humanistic studies and business from St. Mary’s College and a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from Loyola University Chicago.

She currently holds a patent in technology for third-party payment account services and is a DBJ Women in Technology award winner.

August 25, 2022Victoria is no stranger to the corporate board room, by the time Victoria was 24 years old, she was COO of a multinational corporation. Now with 20+ years in corporate leadership, Victoria has held senior roles in companies such as Accenture, IBM, and American Express. She’s overcome great personal adversity and tremendous odds to pursue a life of corporate success and leadership.
Stephanie joined us in January and leads the Marketing and Leasing functions at Veritas. She has over 20 years of marketing, communications, and sales leadership experience. Prior to joining Veritas she held senior leadership positions with Sightline Hospitality, Prometheus Real Estate Group, Accor’s Sofitel- and Novotel hotels, and both Hyatt and Kimpton Hotels. We’re honored to interview her, hear her leadership journey, and learn from her experience as an inspiring woman in real estate.
